This the fourth in the series of the ten Best Wedding Images of 2019 from Ken's Portrait Photography. It has been a very busy year at Ken's Portrait Photography and we have been fortunate to capture so many beautiful images from so many loving couples. We have so many great images we are just going to present then one at a time, in no particular order.

This is one of my favorite images from Mikayla and Michael's wedding this summer. Mikayla and Michael were wed at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, in Mayfield, NY. The current place of worship was rebuilt after the historic church burned down in 2011 when lightning struck the steeple. The large cross you see in the background of this picture was made out of the pieces of stained glass from the original windows of the church that burned down.

This image below is the moment just before Mikayla and Michael's first kiss. The first kiss is always one of the must-have moments of any wedding ceremony. You never know the best angle for the first kiss. My assistant was on one of the side aisles to photograph a profile shot. I was photographing from the back of the church looking down the main aisle. Usually, I zoom in to capture the intimacy of the first kiss. This time my photographic instincts were to zoom out and capture a larger and broader image.

My photographic instincts were spot on and I captured this beautiful image of the first kiss with the large stained glass cross in the shot. To make this image even better, when it came time for the first kiss, Michael pulled Mikayla's hands behind him and leaned in to kiss her. When Michael leaned in, Mikaly leaned back, slightly arching her back, accentuating the long curve of her wedding dress and train. I could not have posed them better myself.
