This past Sunday was a beautiful sunny day. I just had to get out of the studio and take a walk around the neighborhood. I am so fortunate that my studio is located right on the southwest corner of West

I really like the black and white version of the New York State Museum. However, on the Facebook poll I conducted, the respondents preferred the color version better than the black and white version.
In modern digital photography, an image in not just what you capture in the camera, it is what you create from what you captured in the camera.

The original image of Agency Building 2 at the Empire State Plaza was a good image but at this time of year, the reflecting pool is empty. Just a week or two ago the ice skating rink was there and frozen over. You can see the original and unedited image below.
I looked at the image and just thought that it would look so much better if it had been later in the season and you could see a reflection of the building. Not to be deterred, I used a little photoshop processing to add the water back in the reflecting pool.

At Ken's Portrait Photography we use the same care in all of the images we take. Whether it is capturing an image for acting headshots, professional portraits, couple portraits, senior portraits, family portraits, engagement portraits, and wedding portraits, we want you to look your best.
