"My fundamental purpose is to interpret the typical American. I am a story teller." - Norman Rockwell

Stressed out Seamstresses by Kens Portrait Photography. A wonderfully playful image from a recent photo shoot with Lori and Jill. The inspiration for this image stated with the wedding dress that appears in the recent Said Yes to the Dress post. The image needed something more, some kind of action, something to complete the story in the photo. Lori and Jill made the perfect addition to this image as a pair of retro-looking seamstresses working late into the night to make the final preparations on the wedding dress for the next day. One of the image themes for the studio for 2019 is to create photos with a Norman Rockwell type look. This is the first in the series of Norman Rockwell type images from Ken’s Portrait Photography this year. This wedding dress is one of the wardrobe items recently acquired by the studio. The studio has an inventory of clothing available for fashion portraits and creative photo sessions.
